Carbon steel alloy maintenance methods mainly include the following aspects:
Clean and dry: The most basic measure to maintain carbon steel products is to clean them frequently. After use, they should be washed with warm water in time, then wiped with a clean cloth and stored in a dry place. Especially in a humid environment, carbon steel products should be cleaned and wiped every once in a while to keep them dry.
Use maintenance oil: Applying a layer of maintenance oil on the surface of carbon steel products can effectively delay the occurrence of rust. Before use, wipe off the surface debris and oil stains, then apply a layer of maintenance oil, and wipe evenly so that the surface oil film is evenly covered on the carbon steel product.

Pay attention to the storage environment: When storing carbon steel products, they should be placed in a dry and ventilated place, avoid humid and high temperature environments, and prevent rust. If possible, carbon steel products can be placed in anti-rust paper or rust inhibitors to further protect the product.
Coating treatment: Galvanizing, chrome plating and other coating treatments on the surface of carbon steel can improve its corrosion resistance and prevent rust. Hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing and other methods all form a zinc layer on the surface of steel, effectively isolating the steel from contact with corrosive media.
Welding treatment: During welding operations, ensure that the weld is completely free of iron oxide scale, and pickle immediately after welding to prevent rust at the weld.
Regular inspection: Regularly inspect carbon steel equipment, and promptly handle rust spots and rust marks to prevent rust from expanding. For rusted parts, rust removal and anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out in a timely manner.
